Behind the ear hearing aid

Behind The Ear (BTE)

High-performance and discreet behind-the-ear hearing aids (BTE) are equipped with a sound tube with a customized earmold or external receiver that’s placed inside the ear canal. BTEs are suitable for mild to severe hearing loss. This type of hearing aid is generally available in various sizes and styles depending on your preferred performance and battery strength.

Custom in the ear hearing aid

Custom In The Ear (ITE)

Sitting directly inside the ear canal, in-the-ear hearing aids (ITE) come in various sizes and with different capabilities. Additionally, whether or not you can use an ITE device depends on the amount of room in your auditory canal. Your local Provider will conduct a comprehensive hearing evaluation in order to fit you with the right style of hearing aid.

Rechargeable

While many hearing aids come with disposable batteries, hearing aids without batteries – as rechargeable hearing aids are often referred to – are becoming increasingly popular. Rechargeable hearing aids let you enjoy superior sound quality without the need to regularly buy and change hearing aid batteries.
